Marika Lulay

Since June 2017 Marika Lulay has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She was a Member of the Board at GFT Technologies AG from July 2002 to August 2015 and since August 2015 she has been a Member of the Administrative Board of GFT Technologies SE. In her former role as Chief Operating Officer, she assumed responsibility for the GFT core business and the key operational areas for 15 years. She is responsible for the areas of strategy & business development, markets, communications, marketing, technology & innovation.

Marika Lulay stepped down from the Administrative Board at the Annual General Meeting on 20 June 2024. Until Marika's contract expires on 31 December 2024, she and Marco Santos will jointly drive GFT's strategy forward.

Marika Lulay brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT sector to GFT. In 1996 she led the entry into the German market of the American systems integrator Cambridge Technology Partners, her last position there being Vice President for Central and Northern Europe.

Before that, Marika Lulay held a variety of management positions during her seven years at Software AG, including, amongst others, Regional Head of Professional Services. Before she moved to Software AG, Marika Lulay worked for a short period as a Management Consultant at Diebold Deutschland GmbH.

After her graduation, Marika Lulay was Founding Member and Associate of BISTEC GmbH, a software developer for the construction industry. There she managed the R&D Team for CAD. Later on, BISTEC GmbH merged into BAUSOFT GmbH, where she was also Head of the R&D Team.
